Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
Recently we introduced a stretch to assist those dealing with pain resulting from carpal tunnel syndrome. This week and next week we will explore additional stretches to add your repertoire to manage your pain.
First Rib Stretch
Equipment needed: Towel or thick band.
- Locate brachial plexus on effected side of the body (see picture for help).
- Place a towel over this region and grab with one hand the front and the other hand behind and pull down.
- Then tilt your head away in opposite direction and hold for 30sec (see picture below). Repeat this exercise 3 times.
Give it a go and see if it helps to alleviate your pain.
